MakerBot is looking for an experienced, creative, energetic and out-of-the-box person to direct our product marketing. We are looking for a self-starter who has worked in entrepreneurial, start-up environments. You will have an eye for detail to conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand of MakerBot products.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Develop and implement long-term mind blowing product marketing strategies
  • Create marketing and product strategies that enhance MakerBot’s value 
  • Plan and execute detailed cross-organizational product launch plans
  • Create all materials that support hardware, software and packaging
  • Be the expert on our buyers, how and why they are interested and know our competition and how to go about defeating them
Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a position of either leadership in an early adopter technology company, a bleeding edge concept
  • 2-5+ years of experience working with an entrepreneurial or start-up organization – preferably in taking a company from early adopter to mainstream marketplace
  • You know how to cross the chasm
  • Ability and willingness to work in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Amazing communication skills – verbal, written and social media
  • Extremely comfortable with all things Internet
  • Excruciating attention to detail
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive in a high-energy, high-stress and high-fun environment while delivering at the highest level 
Bonus Qualifications
  • Familiarity with 3D printing or MakerBot
