Description
We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to develop our next generation 3D printer electronics. In addition to being highly qualified the ideal candidate will be self-directed, communicate well, and comfortable working in or leading a team. This is a full time position in Brooklyn, NY.Responsibilities
- Electronics design, prototyping, and testing
- Creating design specifications from high level requirements
- Creating documentation for publication or internal use
- Experienced with Altium Designer
- Experience with mixed analog and digital circuits
- Experience designing for FCC or other regulatory compliance
- Ability to create PCB designs appropriate for high volume manufacture
- 2-5+ years experience working in or leading a design team as an EE
- BS in Electical Engineering
- Familiarity with 3D printing or MakerBot
- Experience with motor control
- Experience with consumer electronics
- Experience with embedded linux
- Experience with microprocessors and embedded systems design
- Knowledge of C, C++, or ASM
